Winter not only make you comfortable but also is one main cause for your weight gain. But the cold can also make you sick. For someone who has plenty of work, falling sick could really throw you off the game!

Stay Hydrated

Keeping yourself hydrated is important for the proper functioning of the body. However, in winter, the urge to drink water decreases. But, your body still needs the water. Drink at least six to eight glasses of water in a day. You can also consume liquid in forms of soup or juice, etc.

If you are not keen on drinking plain cold water you opt for something else. Go for something healthy like green or herbal tea. It is so easy to not go to the gym in the harsh winter weather. But, snacking on unhealthy foods and sitting all day long is quite unhealthy. Not only would you put on weight, but it also makes you vulnerable to health issues. Being overweight increases your chances of getting hypertension and diabetes.
